96. EOS WM205 Max Sherbet Green circle lenses review *sponsored review*

Note: This review is my own, 100% honest opinion. In no way am I paid to offer a review or advertise in favor of any company, ever.

Hello my lovely readers! Sorry I've been away for so long. The weather lately has been mood-swinging like crazy, making it very hard for me to get any reviewing done. Either it's sunny and warm and GORGEOUS, and I'm stuck at work, or rainy and depressing and I'm in no mood to do anything hah. Well today I FINALLY found time to doll myself up and get my ass outside to take some photos! <3

Today I will be reviewing the EOS WM205 Max Sherbet circle lenses in green. These lenses were kindly sponsored by the wonderful Kiwiberry1-Collection!
Feel free to check out the series HERE, and don't forget that you can get 15% off your order with code "thisismyv" at checkout. :)
And don't forget to check out their SALE section: tons of lenses are 50% OFF!!! Hurry before the sale ends! They also have the Dueba/G&G Big DM23 lenses in Blue that I reviewed HERE. :)

EOS WM205 Max Sherbet Green

Base Curve: 14.8mm

Duration: 1 year

Bathroom lighting + flash

Design... Fairly simple with a strong limbal ring and black spikes that travels towards the middle of the eye. Simple, but striking.

Color... On me, they are very vibrant! A deep yet vibrant green is the best way to describe them. My boyfriend says they basically look like a more vibrant version of my own eyes. Oddly enough, I feel the same way when I look in the mirror. Even though they look nothing like my eyes... besides the green. Weird. lol. It also doesn't cover a whole lot of the eye, which I think works for this lens, otherwise it will look too obviously fake. It also doesn't blend well into the natural eye,  but I didn't seem to freak out the Best Buy employee at the customer service stand either lol.

Enlargement... What I really love about these, is despite the large limbal ring, I don't find them to be too overwhelmingly large. I feel totally comfortable wearing these out without feeling like people are going to stare at me lol. You can definitely tell my eyes look bigger, but not to an extreme level, like say, the Princess Mimi Apple Greens. (I should do a comparison!)

Comfort... OMGGG these were lovely when I first wore them! The only problem I had was they blurred my vision just a bit, so they took some time to adjust. I think I wore them about 5 hours my first run, and they only irritated my eyes maybe a couple minutes, only once. When I took these photos today, staring in the blazing sun did cause a bit of irritation, but I also didn't sleep too well last night so my eyes were already kind of wonky. That said, I do think they have potential to be quite comfortable overall.

Overall... Honestly, I wasn't expecting a lot from these lenses in the beginning, but makeup really makes a difference in opinion! I tried them on right after I finished soaking them (no makeup), so I didn't really like how they looked on me. I do recommend wearing makeup with these lenses, otherwise you'll look weird. Unless that's the look you're going for, then knock yourself out. ;) They are very vibrant under full sun exposure, but dull out a bit under regular lighting. That said, they still stand out, but more so due to the contrast of the colors and the design. On my bug eyes, they do add some enlargement, but not a whole lot to my surprise. They are quite comfortable up to around the 5 hour mark until I find my eyes start to dry out and become irritated.

Design: 3/5
Color: 4/5
Enlargement: 3/5
Comfort: 4/5

Overall score: 4/5

  7. Ah-- I can kinda' see what you and the boyfie mean about them sort of looking like a more intense version of your eyes.  It's almost like they're a super saturated version of your eye colour. o:

Anyway, these are rather darling on you. o:  The enlargement, as you said, is about perfect.
