014. nail art: round 3

i just wanted to share my latest nail creations. since my natural nails decided to break and tear, and the weather is non-stop raining (even tornado warnings!) i decided to take a break for a little while. not much inspiration when the weather is so gloomy and i can't wear out my nail tips anyways!

i'm planning on wearing these on the 4th Anniversary/Valentine's Day (since they're only 2 days apart ♥) 

i'm super excited, since i really love the way these came out!

this is the second set i'm still working on. i've been dying to get a yellow nail polish since summer, and finally got one.... in january! lol. sadly, i think i picked up a bad bottle. the polish just goes on really sloppy after the first coat, so it's pretty uneven. very disappointing. but hey, at least it was free! i bought the Seche Vite top coat for $9 and got a China Glaze for free. sweet deal!!

i'm still working on the second hand, but it's really not coming out nicely. like i said, i think the polish is a dud. d'oh.

so that's it for now. off to the boyfriend's house to play Monster Rancher!!! :D
